Show & Tell Tuesday

For something a little different, I thought it would be fun to participate in Jenny's Show and Tell Tuesday.

I decided to take and share pictures of a couple of my least favorite tasks of the day.

Ironing.

OK, so this is really yesterday's chore rolled into today's chore. Hopefully it won't roll over into tomorrow's as well.

And...

Stirring a new jar of peanut butter.

As I opened the jar with a knot of dread in my stomach, I made a silent vow to not make a mess "this time," but I'm just not that talented, I guess.

I briefly debated taking a picture of Parker's poo-poo in the potty (second day in a row!) for Show and Tell today, but decided that no one needs (wants) to see that. :)

"You are like light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden, and no one would light a lamp and put it under a clay pot. A lamp is placed on a lampstand, where it can give light to everyone in the house. Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5: 14-16

Why do you stir Peanut butter? Is it because it is organic and it separates?
That is a good show and tell. I probably would have shown the poo poo, I did post a picture of the toilet bowl my son took!

Well at least ironing though it may be the chore you like the least it is on your list, only wash and wear in this household and my hubby is on his own with his uniforms. I am thinking about switching to Organic PB does it taste the same as non organic brands??? Thanks for sharing

*laugh @ beautyinallthings* I saw that picture and thought, "hey, she did it, maybe I should have!" But it was your son who took the picture, so that's a little more understandable. Hehe.

Oh, and the PB, I usually buy peanut butter that's just straight peanuts w/out the sugars and what-not, so the oil separates. Fortunately, unlike Laura Scudders where you have to stir it well before every use, the Costco brand doesn't seem to separate once it's mixed and in the fridge.

P.S. for Erica: I'm not sure the organic makes any difference in taste, I think the biggest difference is what's in it! I prefer straight peanut butter because it has a richer peanut taste instead of a sugary one, and I figure it's (only) slightly more healthy. :)

Ha!! I have SO thought about taking photos of the 3 year old poo in the potty...I'm so thrilled that it makes its way in there now and not in the diaper!!!

Yay, thanks for playing along today! Your 'least favorite tasks' approach was so much fun! I make...er, kindly ask...my husband to do the ironing. I can't stand it.

The peanut butter. I hear ya on that one too! Sometimes I get lazy and buy the normal stuff just so I don't have to make the mess. *ducking head in shame*

Thanks again!

Nice pictures. Is that the kind of peanut butter that gets refrigerated? You could try pouring it out into a tupper-wear type container before mixing it, then just storing it in there. I think that's what dad does when he gets that kind.
